Hot Cakes dives into your Human Design to show you the best way for YOU to sell your work.
17 lessons • £97 • lifetime access
How much should you charge? What do you share on social media, how often, and at what stage? Do you film your entire process or just snippets here and there before the final reveal? Do you talk about it while you're making it, or maybe write about it, is that enough?
There are so many options and you just want to know which ones are ideal for you, specifically.
You'll think about your collection as a whole, price it with confidence, discover how your Human Design shapes the way you sell, and choose from a range of marketing ideas that actually suit you. You'll have lifetime access, direct private access to me for questions whenever you're working through the course and you'll watch me create an entire collection of small still life paintings from first idea to finished art, that subsequently sold.
Even if you sell just one painting, what you learn will be worth it.
Your Human Design profile is a unique blueprint based on the exact position of the planets at the moment your soul incarnated and three months later when you were born. It reveals how you're naturally wired, including how you're designed to communicate, connect and yes, sell your work. There are 12 foundational profiles and yours shapes everything about the marketing approach that will feel most natural and effective for you specifically.
For example, my profile is a 4/6. As a line 4 I'm a natural networker and opportunist, meaning a lot comes to me through real relationships and community. As a line 6 I'm seen as a role model by others, so authentically sharing my own process is one of my most powerful selling tools.
If you're a 2/4, a blend of the hermit and the opportunist, you'll thrive showing up in quieter, more intimate ways. Think voice notes, blogging, podcasts, and videos that feel genuinely connected rather than performed.
If you're a 3/5, you're here to experiment freely, try things, see what lands, and share what works. As a line 5 you're also naturally visionary and concise, showing up on your own terms and leading with how you can serve.
Whichever profile you are, and there are 12 combinations, Hot Cakes will show you exactly how to use it.
Hello, I'm Gabriella Buckingham, a fine artist and your guide through Hot Cakes.
I built this course because I was once exactly where you are now. I knew I wanted to sell my art more but I wasn't sure the best way to do that in a way that felt sustainable to me. While I was working this out I forayed into many personal development courses, including an in depth Human Design course. I finally understood how unique I am and that just because someone else is selling in a certain way doesn't mean it's best for me. I now make and sell work in a way that suits me.
I've had work accepted to the Royal Academy and in 2023 two of my still life paintings were chosen for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, published as a card and print in the RA shop, and one went on to appear in the RA calendar in 2025.
I'm not teaching this from a place of having it all worked out but I am sharing my knowledge from the middle of an evolving art career after years of learning what works for me and different types of people. We all need the courage to show up as our true selves, and that starts with recognising how you're naturally wired to do it.
Hot Cakes is the course I wish I'd had when I started out.

There are no refunds for this course. Once you have paid it is yours for life, so please do ask me any questions before you buy.
This course is best suited to artists who already have some painting experience and are ready to start selling. That said, if you're learning with acrylics or drawn to still life, watching me paint an entire collection from start to finish will be genuinely valuable. You can revisit everything anytime and work through the selling steps when you feel ready.
Feedback on your work is available in the optional group, which is open to everyone on the course. For anything else, you can ask me private questions directly anytime you're working through the content.
